** Selling at BridgeHouse Marina, Garstang ** Our 4 berth classic Freeman28 cruiser is up for sale. Built in 1973, the boat is unpainted and in original condition throughout. She is a single engine river cruiser with a 1600cc crossflow petrol engine which has been regularly and routinely serviced.

Drive is achieved through a velvet drive auto-gearbox. Last surveyed in 2024, the craft carries a £29,500 insurance valuation, and was anti-fouled that year. She comes with a full winter cover which has protected her across each of the 17 winters that we have owned her. The canopy is a light weight acrylic canvas, and a second heavyweight vinyl canopy is provided for winter.

The boat has only been used in fresh water for the past 20 years. Equipment wise, the boat has 240v shore power, hot water (calorifier with immersion heater), shower, cassette toilet, intelligent battery charging system with remote switching. The galley has a marine cooker installed and has a combination of 240v blown air heater and a gas heater in the cabin. She has 2 additional tables and is fitted with 2x110amp leisure batteries and a 55amp starter battery. Also included is a 2-way Engel compressor fridge/freezer box (draws a tiny current when running and is so VERY effective). Finally she is equipped with raptor cutters behind the prop - makes short work of any weed !
